At California Rangeland Trust, we work with ranching families to preserve the Golden State’s rangelands, open landscapes, air and water quality, wildlife and local food supplies. We act as a bridge between land owners and conservation resources, facilitating the process of preserving ranches and open landscapes in California for future generations and we safeguard agricultural jobs and family businesses that support the economic health of the state.
437,997 acres of private rangeland are waiting on funding for permanent conservation through the Rangeland Trust. These lands contain some of our State’s most precious resources, treasured landscapes and a unique ranching culture found nowhere else. California’s oak woodlands, wetlands, vernal pools, breathtaking vistas and the heritage and culture of the families who steward these lands are being threatened. Join us in being part of the Rangeland Trust’s effort to save our state’s rangelands and ranching heritage.
